When I first tried to think of an image representing wisdom, a favourite quote from Einstein immediately came to mind: “Look deep into nature, and you will find the answer to everything.”

I wanted to post this piece before the week was up, but I also need to let it sit for a little while before I decide where to take it. When the painting is complete, I’ll update this post with the final version.

Update : the final version.

Einstein has said so many quotable things…these are yet more wonderful words of wisdom. This is such a very beautiful painting…you’ve captured the subtle gradations of color and texture, and the contrast between the delicate flowers and the rocks is materful. So pretty…

This is lovely. Here, we call those flowers ‘harebells’, because the hare rings them with his feet! Very nice painting.

Magical interpretation - I really admire people that are able to handle tempera as a medium.

I love the Einstein quote. Your painting is just amazing. It looks so real, like I could touch those delicate bluebells. I especially love the details, such as the lichen on the rock, as well. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
