Some artists are observers; others reach into the collective unconscious and search for something like a half-remembered dream.

Great strong brushstrokes for the urgency of ‘lost’ :)

Your art and comments are always provocative and thoughtful. I think the use of the reds and yellows make the observer feel the urgency of finding whatever has been lost.

Hello! I just stumbled on your site today from the Illustration Friday page. I first saw your work earlier this year at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s (I believe), and then at The Rooms. I’m a big fan! It’s so nice to see that you have a blog, I’ll be sure to check in every now and again.

There is such a feeling of passion indicated by the reds and the look on the face as well as the beautiful and strong brush strokes.

This is so beautiful. I like the colors, and I like that it’s not “finished”.

Hi Jennifer. I just came accross your name on a blog I read and had to check it out to see if it was really you. I was at art school with you all those years ago. Nice to see you are still making art. I was in the year ahead of you. (I’ve changed my last name). I see you still make good art.
