Beautiful piece, but I’m too dim to “get it”, I guess. Please enlighten me…

My husband says that when I talk too much I ruin my artist’s mystique, so perhaps I should follow his advice. (-:
As for its meaning, I’d like to let people decide that for themselves.

For me, the apple painted on the slip, revisits the symbolism of forbidden fruit - once “the knowledge of good and evil” has been bitten into, the sin is revealed and one is further tempted to begin covering things up. Jeepers, did I just say all of that? Hmmmmm.

Very interesting indeed. I see it as a smudge of daily rituals that are now changed. But I could be wrong. Well done!

I think she was expecting an extra warm reception especially after he knew she no longer was ‘forbidden fruit’. This was a gift as far as she was concerned. She had everything ‘just right’; however “he left her cold”.

On lingerie? Holy cow, Jennifer. That’s superb. That had to have been difficult to create, but the result is amazing.

I realy enjoy this piece. It captures aspects of both a certain kind of playfulness as well as a very stern stucturesd almost severe side. Capturing these sides and blending them together into one cohisive display of emotion is stunning. As a young and aspiring artist I am dazzled by this.
