I love to look at other people’s gardens, but I don’t think I realized how much peace and joy working in my own could give me, despite all the thorns from the wild roses. And with a little luck, and a few prayers perhaps, dreams can come true. I planted sunflowers and lavender near the Arctic Circle yesterday.

Hi Jen,
I’ve just gone through your blog (and I am flattered that you’ve attached ours to yours!). I know that our husbands have met and I wonder: have I seen you at any YK moms groups this past year? Danny and Rachel are almost exactly the same age, so it seems funny we haven’t run into each other yet.
We should meet up before this warm weather leaves the North! I didn’t get your email from your comment, but email me at vvandewater@gmail.com and we could try out the beach or try the museum, which is one of my favourite indoor spaces in town. Rachel loves to run around and there isn’t much she can get into in the kids’ area.
We’re around for a couple more weeks before we go south for holidays. Thanks for your great comments and hope to talk to you soon!
